Rules to be followed while using our college transport
🚍 Transport Rules and Regulations for Students
1. Eligibility and Enrollment
· Students must register for transport services at the beginning of the academic year.
· Transport ID cards must be carried at all times and shown upon request.
2. Timings
· Buses will follow a fixed schedule. Students must arrive at the pickup point at least 5 minutes early.
· The college is not responsible for students who miss the bus.
3. Discipline and Conduct
· Maintain silence and discipline while on the bus.
· No shouting, standing, or moving inside the bus while it’s in motion.
· Do not harass or disturb other passengers or drivers.
· Use of inappropriate language, gestures, or behaviour is strictly prohibited.
4. Safety Regulations
· Do not board or alight from a moving bus.
· Keep hands, head, and objects inside the bus at all times.
· Damaging or tampering with bus equipment or seats will result in disciplinary action and fines.
5. Prohibited Items
· Smoking, alcohol, drugs, or any illegal items are strictly prohibited on the bus.
· Playing loud music or videos is not allowed unless headphones are used.
6. Route and Stops
· Students must travel on the assigned route only.
· Requests for new stops or changes in route must be submitted in writing and are subject to approval.
7. Emergency Procedures
· In case of a breakdown or emergency, students must cooperate with the driver and stay calm.
· Do not leave the bus unless instructed by the driver or staff.
8. Penalties and Suspension
· Violation of transport rules may lead to:
- Warning
- Suspension of transport privileges
- Permanent removal from transport services
- Disciplinary action by the college authorities
9. Fee Payment
· Transport fees must be paid on time. Non-payment may lead to suspension of transport access.
10. Complaints and Suggestions
· Any issues or feedback should be reported to the Transport Coordinator or Student Affairs Office.
